Pre-loved, pre-owned, rebuilt, refurbished, rehomed, what ever you wish to call them, Agas are built from very heavy castings which does not wear out.

Classic Cookers keep a limited stock already rebuilt or suitable for rebuilding.

This enables the customer to choose the colour and burner they require.

When an Aga is rebuilt it is stripped down to its component parts and the enamelled castings are sent away for re-enamelling. These parts are blasted back to bare metal before being vitreous re enamelled at very high temperature, just like a new Aga, in the customers colour. Although an expensive process this is far superior to stove enamelling for this application. Meanwhile the other parts are cleaned, checked and replaced where necessary.

New door liners, lid liners and chrome domes are fitted before the cooker is re -assembled and commissioned in the customers home.

To all intents and purposes the customer is left with a shiny new Aga at a fraction of the price.

As a further option we install the Snugburner pressure jet burner in oil Agas and Rayburns making them far more efficient and controllable. They will drastically reduce your oil consumption, with the current very high oil prices a Snugburner will soon pay back the capital cost of having one fitted.
