Britannia Range Cookers

With their clean lines, very fast precise controls, energy and safety advantages, induction hobs are becoming increasingly popular as they become more affordable. It is only a matter of time until they become the most popular hob type. Induction hobs need pans with a magnetic or ferrous base. Check by holding a magnet to the base, if it sticks it is suitable. Quality pan manufacturers have been catering for induction cooking for some years now by introducing ferrous content into their stainless steel ranges.

2009 news, with the pounds continuing fall against the Euro, some European suppliers have just advised they are increasing prices by up to 10% from mid January. I expect others to follow.

2010 news, well what a surprise, we have just (Oct.) been informed that with the continuing fall against the Euro there will be significant price increase next year. Now where have I read that before?

Our prices are already very competitive so these increases will have to be passed on. If you intend to purchase a product manufactured abroad but are holding on hoping for further "sales" reductions you may well end up paying more.
